1. General provisions

Marko Montage s.r.o. processes personal data in accordance with the applicable laws of the Slovak Republic and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR). The purpose of this document is to provide information on how we process the personal data of our clients, suppliers and other persons whose data may be processed.

2. Purposes of the processing of personal data

In particular, we process personal data for the following purposes:

the performance of contractual obligations and the conduct of business,
compliance with legal obligations (in particular accounting and tax)
communication with clients and business partners,
handling enquiries, orders and complaints,
marketing purposes on the basis of the data subject's consent.

3. Scope of the processed data

Depending on the purpose of the processing, we may process in particular the following categories of personal data:

identification data (name, surname, company name, VAT number, VAT number),
contact details (address, e-mail, telephone number),
billing and payment details,
data necessary for the performance of a contract or legal obligation.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process personal data on the basis of:

performance of the contract pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR,
the fulfilment of legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR,
the legitimate interest of the controller pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR,
consent of the data subject pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (in particular for marketing purposes).

5. Recipients of personal data

Personal data may be disclosed:

to our employees and collaborators,
accounting and tax advisor,
providers of IT services and web hosting,
by a public authority in accordance with the law.

We do not provide personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

6. Retention period

We only keep personal data for as long as necessary:

for the duration of the contractual relationship and thereafter in accordance with the archiving obligations under the law (e.g. accounting records for 10 years),
for marketing purposes until consent is withdrawn.
